Born in the small town of Lecce in south Italy, and raised in Peterborough, Tony Resta now lives in Lugano, Switzerland.

 

English and American has been his passion since he was little and growing up in the UK has lit this fire even more.

 

In 2009 he began writing his first songs. Growing up with a lot of other rap enthusiasts, he also began shooting low budget music videos to mainly friends. A hobby this which in 2014 became his full time job, giving him the chance to be fully immersed in the music industry.

 

After having released two mixtapes, in 2010 and 2012, Tony had slowed down his progress and took a break, releasing only three singles in the years after that.

 

This year, Tony Resta is preparing a comeback, and, mixed with a newly lit passion and many collaborations, is determined to try once again to gain success in what he loves doing.

On 17th May 2018, Tony released the amazing 'Sogni d'Oro  (feat. La Deck Mikey & Cristian Margelia) which is a massive track within the Italian Rap/RnB scene.
